Route Thu 28 May – Leigh to Mangawhai Heads
May 28, 2009 on 4:26 pm | In Daily routes | No CommentsAfter being hosted by Team Torkington in Ti Point and well fed, I took the back roads to Mangawhai Heads which involved gravel roads, wild cows, and blue blue skies. I only got lost once, well not exactly lost but took a wrong turn following what appeared to be a paper road (one that only exists on paper, not in real life) that turned out to be a dead end. Google Maps’ fault. So I got to see the top of another hill two times more than I needed
