The last leg of the journey. Auckland to the cape. What will I do now?
This week I cycled from Taupo all the way through Tokoroa, Te Aroha, Miranda, Orere Point, Howick, Auckland right to the Harbour Bridge and across it as part of getacross.org.nz, protesting for cycle and pedestrian access across the only harbour crossing.
This week I ride from Christchurch to Wellington going via Waipara, Cheviot, Kaikoura, Ward, Picton then Wellington. It was a beautiful ride up the coast.
Rhys Darby gets in behind the ride. He got off his arse and became a TV and movie star. What impossible thing are you going to do?
Here is the first official vlog of my trip. Starting in Auckland, I fly to Invercargill, bike to Bluff, ferry to Stewart Island, cycle to the southern most point, ferry back to Bluff, cycle to Gore, then to Balclutha, then to Dunedin (Mosgiel). Comments welcome, please!
